Disaster Services

“Watching our house burn was probably our family’s most devastating experience.
We were so glad the Red Cross was there to help us.”

Disaster Services focuses on preparedness, prevention, mitigation, and response.  The Chapter has a diverse array of courses and presentations for both individuals and groups.

All Red Cross disaster assistance is provides at no cost and is made possible by generous contributions from those who live and work in Arlington County, and all over the world.

In most cases, clients are referred to us by the Fire Department.  If you have experienced a disaster and you have immediate disaster-related needs, call the Chapter at 703.527.3010 x733.
