The Arlington County Chapter of the American Red Cross and Upton Hill Regional Park invite you to participate in the 2008 Upton Hill Miniature Golf Fall Classic. The Harris Cup is a series of local qualifying tournaments held at miniature golf courses built by Harris. The winner of the individual tournement has the option to travel to the Harris Cup National Miniature Golf Tournament, which is televised on the Golf Channel, and a chance at a share of the $10,000 purse! (date of National Tournament TBD)
About Us!
All proceeds from the Upton Hill Miniature Golf Fall Classic come to the American Red Cross Arlington County Chapter. The Chapter provides programs and services within Arlington County, such as 24-hour disaster assistance, family and workplace emergency preparedness education, health and safety instruction, and services to seniors, special populations, the military, and international residents. Last year we raised $3,500 at this event. Our goal for 2008 is $5,000, and you can help!
Fun for Everyone!
Whether you’re an avid player or a novice -- all are welcome! We’ll have team play in the morning for the fun-lovers and a more serious tournament round in the afternoon. There will be lunch and prizes, and lots of good cheer. Play in the morning then play again the afternoon and win both times! Bring together friends and family to play and raise money for the American Red Cross - America’s Favorite Charity. Information on how to register will be available in August.
