Get Prepared

In today’s climate, it is especially important  that everyone is prepared for possible emergencies. Natural and other disasters can strike at any time and any place. Accordingly, the Arlington County Chapter has joined with other organizations and community members, including the Arlington County Office of Emergency Management, to assist people in preparedness.

Take action. You never know how many people your actions will affect -- how many lives you might change!

People with Disabilities -- Our Chapter is taking part in meetings with the county and citizen groups to devise plans for people who have special needs, including issues such as education, notification, evacuation, and more.
