Arlington County schools can host Red Cross Clubs where students are able to choose and organize projects in a typical afterschool program setting. In past years, Red Cross Clubs collected school supplies for students in Guam, made bags of disaster preparedness information, and visited residents at local nursing homes. Clubs have also held fundraising events benefiting the Arlington Red Cross, Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, and the Measles Initiative.
